Girls' basketball: Burbank Burroughs' Lisha Elsenbach breaks school records
December 6, 2009 | 10:47 am
Burbank Burroughs' Lisha Elsenbach shattered two school records Saturday night.
She scored a school-high 46 points against Simi Valley Royal in the championship game of the Valencia High Five Classic tournament. Royal defeated Burroughs, 79-69, in double overtime.
Elsenbach broke Kim Ferrel's 1978 record of 37 points in a game.
She also set a school record for the most three-pointers made in a single game, converting eight of her 11 attempts. The previous three-point record was held by Samantha Cross, who made six three-pointers in a game last season.
