Jon Stewart gave C-SPAN some advice on how they should have handled the caller who said if they "keep on with the way you've been programming, you should change your name from C-SPAN to BLACK-SPAN."

"First--this might be a good time to rearrange the papers on your desk. Then, yeah, I'm gonna cut you off right there," said Stewart. "Go f*ck yourself."

I think they are required to have a delay--but it may be out of the moderators control. They are mostly on the lookout for profanity. (And breasts...See Janet Jackson!) So everyone was caught off guard.

But that moderator ("The whitest guy in history") clearly was flummoxed but his move was way too conciliatory.

The whole thing was funny!!!
