Republicans have slashed benefits for workers, the poor, single moms and children while also slashing taxes for corporations. This year America's biggest corporation, General Electric paid nothing in income Tax. Zero. Zilch. Nada. MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell has the rewrite.

What I don't get is how the Republicans can call for shared sacrifice and claim that taxes are killing business--when business is rolling in profits--business is killing the rest of us!!!

Exactly.

Lawerence's point was a good one--just close the loopholes! Let them have their deductions--but tighten them so they can do their patriotic duty and share in our supporting our government the way everybody else does.

Rich, here is one more eposode of soap box opera Only In America as seen right now on America News HQ @FNC...they have turned the GE not paying taxes to talk about(AS IN AGAINST) the wind energy powers 'that w-i-l-l' be built by GE...they are also defending the HARD WORKING PUBLIC SCHOOL TEACHERS TAX PAYERS AS BEING ABUSED BY OUR PRESIDENT AND HIS CHOSEN FRIENDS at GE WHO SUPPORT HIM WITH FUNDS.
