To honor the 109 years of the club's storied existence, Real Madrid played a soccer match against 109 children in China. And don't worry, Madridistas, Los Blancos triumphed over their youthful foes.
Throughout their preseason tour of Asia, Cristiano Ronaldo and his Real Madrid teammates were given terrific support by local fans, and this was definitely a wonderful farewell gesture before returning home.
Although the Madrid players did have to be mindful of knocking over any of the children, at least they didn't have to worry that one of them was going to score a stunning overhead goal like the one that Chivas midfielder Marco Fabian netted against Barcelona, Real Madrid's main rival in Spain, during another recent exhibition.
