Shalom Brothers and Sisters. Here is the real deal that just makes me sick and should NOT happen to any person, whether Black or White.
Two similarly situated men on Georgia's death-row, one Black and the other White, received two very different fates. African American Troy Davis was sentenced to death without any physical evidence linking him to the murder and with 7 admitted lying testimonies from 7 so-called witnesses that later recanted their false testimonies. Samuel Crowe (White) had actual physical evidence of his murder plus he confessed, which placed him on death-row.
Samuel David Crowe, who is White, was allowed to leave death-row and then was given a life sentence, even though the physical evidence and his own confession proved that he committed the murder without any doubt. However, Troy Davis, who is Black, was executed on Sept 21, 2011 even though there was no physical evidence and 7 witnesses recanted their original testimony, admitting that they lied on Troy Davis at trial.
Something is terribly wrong here. The one without any doubt is allowed to live, while the other was killed not based on physical evidence but on lying testimonies. Google Samuel David Crowe for yourself.
When I learned of Samuel David Crowe, I was compelled from on high to create a comparison chart to show the blatant systemic racism within the penal system today.
